The wait for Mac users in finally over. The Pangu team has finally released Mac OS X version of Pangu 9 jailbreak. The jailbreak tool, just like the Windows version of the tool, is compatible with iOS 9.0, 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 on iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, 6, 6 Plus, 5s, 5c, 5, 4s, iPad 4/3/2, iPad mini 4/3/2/1, iPad Air 2/1 and iPod touch 6/5.
The jailbreak will not work with iOS 9.1 as Apple has patched the exploits used in this jailbreak tool in iOS 9.1 firmware. The good news though is that Apple continues to sign iOS 9.0.2, which means you can still upgrade or downgrade to that firmware and jailbreak using Pangu 9. You can upgrade/downgrade to iOS 9.0.2 only until Apple keeps signing the firmware. Once the signing window is closed, this won’t be possible.
